Earth Ablaze

Real wars. Real maps. Your command.

Earth Ablaze is a series of real-time wargames, each built on the real map of the place it’s about.

Operation Freedom covers all 398 districts of Afghanistan from 2001 on, and winning the war is the easy part. Operation Epic Fury puts you in charge of keeping tankers moving through the Strait of Hormuz while the oil price keeps score.

The Cabal

Run a megacorp. Field a squad of cyberpunk agents.

The Cabal is a real-time squad tactics game set in 2080. You run a corporation whose real income comes from contracts: assassinations, stolen research and the odd boardroom seat.

Each job sends four agents onto a guarded floor. Cameras and guards feed one alarm, and a contract finished without tripping it pays extra. Between jobs you hire, fit implants and fund research, and each contract you close moves another district toward your corp.

Driller

From Titusville to Titan.

Driller is an oil tycoon game that covers two hundred years of the industry. It starts on Oil Creek, Pennsylvania, in August 1859, with a spring-pole rig and two hired hands.

Every barrel sells at the price oil fetched that year, so the 1861 crash, when crude fell to ten cents, arrives whether you’re ready or not. From there the oil moves to Baku, the North Sea, shale and eventually the hydrocarbon lakes of Titan.

The studio

Magnetic Labs Inc makes these games. Everything we ship runs in a browser, so a link is all it takes to try one or to send it to a friend.

We like games with a real subject: an actual map, a price series from the historical record, or a future worked out in enough detail to argue about. The company site is at magneticlabs.com.
